Great game had the perfect amount of save points not to many and was scary and worth buying cant wait for the second one and I loved playing the game

This game is amazing the one problem I had with the game was dealt with in the first update! Survival horror at its core the best part is its only the start of the series !!!!!!!! This is the only game on iOS that I bookmarked a countdown page to the release of this game You will love this game no question about it

I was almost 3 hrs into this game and I got bored so I decided to play soccer when I came back after an hour I had to restart the whole entire game this is crazy we should be able to have autosave or be able to save the game when we want to quit and also this game isnt even scary or fun how does this have awards this should be fixed or taken off the AppStore

If you like Silent Hill and survival horror you will love this game. It feels like Silent Hill and in many ways plays like Silent Hill. It also has the save system from Resident Evil which I love. I think the people who dislike this game are just not used to a traditional survival horror game. I personally thought the controls were no more clunky than the older Resident Evils. Im used to that play style so no problem. However I do have some complaints. The game is way too short. Think of it more like an telltale games episode. Despite reading every document, taking my time, and investigating every nook and cranny I beat it in about two hours. Also the save system is problematic for mobile games. It uses a traditional resident evil style save. Instead of an ink ribbon that you use on a printer, you use a floppy disk to save on an old style computer. I like this save system except that if Im playing the game in short bursts and need to put the iPad down, sometimes the game will lose my progress. The only way to ensure your game is saved is to use a floppy disk and make a hard save. However if Im playing or 20 minutes at the airport and need to stop playing, running to s save point is not realistic. I think a good compromise is a soft save system because if you suddenly need to put your iPad down its possible to lose your progress. Basically a soft save would save your game but immediately delete itself once you reloaded the game. The only saves that would be hard saves would be the saves you make in the game on the computer with your disc drive. Because I do agree that there is more tension when you fear dying and losing your progress. It definitely adds consequences to dying. Despite this minor flaw, I think the game is one of the best on iPad. It is significantly better than shattered memories. Cant wait for the next episode!

- [ ] I just bought this game today and Im already so annoyed at it!! The way the character moves, the fluidity of movement , the way the camera and point of view moves while trying to move character is so frustrating, so choppy and so out of sync, I think its the worst I have seen on any game ( & Ive played ALOT of mobile games) . The graphics might be nice, but just based off the complete failure of the movement fluidity dynamic , the game has been a complete and utter let down and disappointment!!!!!! Another 6$ down the drain!! Just like many others, this game promises a lot but the reality is , its yet another subpar DISAPOINTING mess. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This game is beautiful and is completely awesome. One of the best games on iOS

If you are into a good horror game, this one is for you! Really good game, with a great story line to go with it! Kept me on the edge of my seat and up long into the night playing! Plenty of creepy music and jump scares! My only issues is there is no auto save feature or not enough health placed throughout certain points but other than that, great game! It reminded me of a PlayStation or Xbox game! Awesome graphics too!

Please update and fix the bug on the iPod touch 6 generation. I gotten pretty far on the game but when I open it, it crashes and I cant play it, please update and fix this bug.

So, I love the horror genre and this game does not disappoint. The graphics are beautiful, the storyline is intriguing, the environment is spooky. Set in an abandoned asylum you are sent on a mission. Throughout you encounter super creepy mannequins and other not so pleasant baddies. The music is really haunting as well. Im not a fan of the save system and there was one point that I thought I was just going to have to quit because I was tired of going back to my save spot. But I soldiered on and am so glad I did. Cant wait for the next chapter.

Dont have words to describe how good its this game ... For those who love suspense movies this is the game you have to play !!! I love it ...Can wait for the part 2 !!!

Crashes on startup and data is lost. No updates since nov 2015

I got the game, paid quite a bit for it and from what I did play it was good, but now for some reason every time I try to play it it makes me leave the game and Im not that far in. So I pretty much wasted my money on this game.

The controls are hard to figure out how to use, I cant get the character to move where I want her to go. My view just spins around and around, giving me motion sickness and headache. I want to keep playing but I dont think that I can make it much longer. "Lost Within" is MUCH easier to play and control

Useless on my iPhone 5s. Was fun the single time I was able to play it. This app loads and plays fine after the first install all 4 times I had to reinstall it. Im not sure what else to do. Hope you all have better luck than I did.

I give this game 5 stars whole heartedly. Honestly people who are complaining about bad movements or how hard the game is- the point of a game isnt always that its easy- its supposed to challenge you. Especially in this game. I love that even though I myself admit its sometimes hard to get used to things, I love that this game challenges me along with a great story line and a great spooky atmosphere. I also love that its not all about blood and gore and trying to make things as gruesome as possible. That isnt scary, its just boring. As a big fan of horror and the entire genre from movies to books to games, I have to say this is one of the best. Definitely worth the money. I really hope that the next edition comes soon, because it leaves you on a total cliffhanger! Great work! There are some minor bugs or annoyances, like sometimes the game freezes, or sometimes it takes forever to get to a save point, but as far as bugs go its minimal and usually only freezes at points right at the beginning of a new part after you have saved. And every game has flaws. Nothing is perfect! But this game is very close.

seems the game can be completed in only 20 minutes without exploration... disappointing. but the amount of detail to the game, coupled with the music, lighting and voice acting more than make up for it. the director cut will only expand this game in overall everything, plus more

OMG!!! True console quality is here and it plays and looks pitch perfect on iPhone5s on a 64bit chips with metal!!!! Its the same atmosphere, graphics, aspect, scary console feeling of silent hill and forgotten memories pulls it off!! Controls are smooth & responsive all the way, graphics takes advantage of the iPhone and is on par with 360 & PS3 graphics of 2016, love the story it is interesting and wanting more...we got it b4 wii u and psvita even though its slimmed down a bit on iOS but still the same thing!!! 5 stars devs read this

Forgotten Memories is a beautiful exercise in classic survival horror. I honestly thought that I had played my last in this vein of gaming years ago but the creators of this dark little gem have really attempted to bring back all of the facets of classic survival horror. Its great knowing that there are people out there still devoted to the genre that got me into video games in the first place! The visuals are sumptuous and drenched in creep factor, sound design is brilliant down to the different types of flooring changing your footsteps, and the story is intriguing albeit a bit heavy handed and ever so slightly cheesy in execution (but lets be real, so were Silent Hill, Resident Evil and the like) Yes, save points are spaced out in a way that creates challenge and uncertainty but that is the point ( only play this game when you have time to devote to it, not on a 5 minute break) Touch controls are much better than I anticipated. Still a bit hit or miss at times but thats entirely the nature of the beast. I think this game is priced well under what its worth and anybody with an interest in horror should give it a shot.

This game is terrifying, extremely unnerving, and well done. On par with Silent Hill 2 or 3, and thats vast praise indeed! Play this game. Play it!
